    Club Practice Days
    TBD

    Training Schedule
Practice times for each training group will be communicated before the start of the season and are subject to change if necessary.

Occasionally, adjustments or cancellations may be required due to the following circumstances:

    Statutory Holidays
Legacy Beach Volleyball will not hold practices on statutory holidays unless otherwise communicated.

  • Beach Court
    34943 Fore Road, Abbotsford, BC

Elite practice sessions will be coached by Easton Sarich, a current UFV men’s volleyball player who is very active in the beach volleyball community and competes at a high level. Easton has experience coaching both indoor and beach club volleyball and brings a strong passion for athlete development and teaching court IQ. His knowledge of the game and competitive experience will provide athletes with a fun, challenging, and rewarding training environment throughout the summer.

  • Club fees are $510. Includes all training sessions and two Legacy Volleyball Beach apparel.

  • Beach volleyball is an outdoor sport, and athletes should be prepared to train in a variety of weather conditions. However, athlete safety is always our top priority. Training may be modified, delayed, or cancelled in the following situations:

    Lightning or Thunderstorms
If lightning is detected in the area, athletes will be moved to a safe location immediately and parents/guardians will be notified if an early pickup is required.

Heavy Rain or Unsafe Court Conditions
Practices will generally proceed in light rain. In the event of severe weather that impacts visibility, court safety, or athlete well-being, training may be shortened or cancelled.

    Extreme Heat
During periods of excessive heat, coaches may adjust training intensity, incorporate additional water breaks, modify activities, or cancel practice if conditions are deemed unsafe.

    Air Quality
The health and safety of our athletes is a priority. Practices may be modified, postponed, or cancelled if air quality reaches levels that are considered unsafe for outdoor physical activity. This may occur due to wildfire smoke or other environmental conditions. Legacy Volleyball Club will monitor local air quality advisories and make decisions based on current recommendations and athlete safety.

    Other Circumstances
From time to time, practices may need to be rescheduled or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the club's control, including coach illness, facility availability, unsafe court conditions, or other unforeseen events. Legacy Volleyball Club will make every effort to provide advance notice and, when possible, arrange a makeup session.

Any schedule changes or cancellations will be communicated to families as early as possible through the club's communication channels.

  • Tournament entry fees are not included in Legacy Beach Volleyball club fees.

Athletes are encouraged to participate in Volleyball BC beach tournaments throughout the summer to gain valuable competitive experience. Participation in tournaments is optional, and athletes may choose which events they would like to attend based on their goals and availability.

Tournament registration is completed directly through Volleyball BC. Athletes are responsible for any tournament entry fees, Volleyball BC membership fees, travel costs, and other expenses associated with competition.

If you have not yet selected a playing partner, we still encourage you to review the Volleyball BC tournament schedule and begin planning your summer competition schedule. Coaches can assist athletes in finding suitable partners when possible and provide guidance on tournament selection based on age and skill level.

  • Athletes should bring the following to every training session:

    • Water bottle (minimum 1 litre recommended)

    • Athletic clothing suitable for outdoor training

    • Hat and sunglasses (recommended)

    • Sunscreen

    • Beach towel

    • Healthy snack if desired

Athletes should arrive ready to train and dressed appropriately for weather conditions.
